Who made this guide, and why?

The Income Advance Guide was created by Rhino Foods and B Lab, two organizations committed to creating a shared and durable prosperity. We partnered to create this guide because we believe that Income Advance has tremendous potential to improve the lives of millions of employees.

Rhino Foods is a manufacturer of inclusions for ice cream and other specialty dessert items that has always had a deep commitment to their employees. Built into the organization’s foundation is a promise to establish relationships with employees and their families, create a climate of mutual trust and respect, foster an environment for listening and personal expression, and provide a vehicle for employees to develop and achieve their personal and professional aspirations. Income Advance was a natural fit for Rhino Foods, and because of its success with Income Advance, Rhino Foods has been working with employers to expand implementation of the program.

B Lab is a nonprofit organization that serves a global movement of people using business as a force for good. Its vision is that one day all companies compete not only to be the best in the world, but the best for the world, and society will enjoy prosperity for all for the long term.  B Lab runs the Inclusive Economy Challenge, and is scaling impactful solutions that contribute to creating a more inclusive economy as a result. B Lab partnered with Rhino Foods, a Certified B Corporation since 2013, to elevate their efforts and to help spread this proven solution to more employers and financial institutions.
